To kick of the "poppy Growing" for Destination Delco and the World War I Remembrance project, Delaware County artist and marketing professional created and contributed a 36" x 36" acrylic on canvas painting of a Flanders Poppy in a poppy field. The image is to be used as a branding for the project and appears on the poppy seed packets, signage, button pins and many other marketing tools.
“I am proud to be part of the project and connected to the good work of the Destination Delco Tourism Bureau, ” said Rothacker.
“My hope, and that of DD Executive Director Tore Fiore, is that the painting can be sold or auctioned to raise money for “Walk for the Wounded” a great local program for veterans.
